The purpose of Mestieri LAB is to build a bridge between the fashion industry and creative talents, cultures, and generations, placing the human being at the center.
In this historical moment, the need to bridge a significant generational and skill gap within organizations is becoming increasingly evident.
On one side, there are fashion schools that need a stronger connection with companies to educate students practically. Schools represent a window into the future of the industry. They are reservoirs of young talents, and we want to support them by offering valuable opportunities
On the other side, there are companies throughout the supply chain, from raw materials to the brand, that need new skills, problem-solving-oriented creativity, a 360-degree approach to sustainability, and people capable of creatively adapting to constantly changing scenarios.
Here we find the masters, guardians of essential skills, but it is difficult to transmit this knowledge to new generations.
What can Mestieri LAB do?
We spend half of our time in fashion industry companies, while the other half is spent with young individuals who wish to work in the sector: We understand both realities well and can facilitate dialogue between them. Our goal is to connect young creative talents with companies that care about people, to cross-pollinate knowledge and create authentic, creative, and effective connections.
